Is what it cost yesterday to fill my car with gas. This is a '97 Ford Taurus. Geez. $85 a week to drive to a job I can't stand. Hmmmmmmm.........
So glad I don't have an SUV.
Let's see...I could stay home, keep my house clean, exercise, cook, read, do art, volunteer...if I didn't work. I would also have no money...which makes the world go around. But I'd only need $1.05 for my morning coke. Hmmmmm.......Dan just got promoted, so I think he could afford it.
Big Kerfuffle on the blue line(the El, the subway) this afternoon..one car of of an 8 car train derailed, caught on fire, and filled the tunnel with smoke. Since 8 trains were bombed this AM in India...the first thing everyone thought was terrorism. At this time...it's just a de-railment. Harrowing for the passengers, nonetheless. Dan called me, kind of panicked, even though he was on the Metra. I just told him to get his ass out of there....you never know, these days.
